Deposits

A deposit of $200 is required to secure a cabin reservation. For stays of 2 or 3 nights, a $150 deposit per cabin is required. Deposits can be made by Visa, MasterCard or Interac e-transfer. Deposits by credit card can be made securely online using a custom link we provide you. The balance of your account can be settled at the end of your stay by cash, traveler’s cheque, Visa, MasterCard or Interac direct debit.

Cancellations

Due to our small size, cancellations affect us significantly. Therefore we do have cancellation fees in effect:

  • 14 days before arrival: deposit refunded less a $50 administration fee
  • 7 days before arrival: half of deposit refunded
  • Less than 7 days before arrival: deposit is forfeited or may be applied to a future stay

Non-Smoking Accommodations

All of our cabins are non-smoking. You may smoke outside and we provide ashtrays on our screened porches if required.

Check-in/Check-out

Check in starts at 4:00pm. If you arrive earlier, you are welcome to use the grounds or enjoy some refreshments on our deck.

Check out is at 10:30am. You are more than welcome to enjoy the grounds or take a last canoe ride on the lake once you have checked out of your cabin. If you require a check out after 12:00pm, there is a late check-out fee of 25% of the daily rate. Please make arrangements the evening before.

Pets

Sorry, due to the quiet nature of the lodge, we are unable to accept pets.

Gratuities

We do not charge a service fee for our cottages, though many Ontario resorts do. Our staff prides itself on exceptional personal service and appreciates your recognition. Most guests leave 5-10% when settling their account, which we then distribute to all staff. A gratuity of 5% will be added to groups booking three or more cabins.
